Tsali Campground & Fontana Lake
North Carolina
September 5-7, 2025
Tsali Campground is located in North Carolina, nestled in the Nahtahala Forrest on Fontana Lake. It boasts miles of beautiful trails with a view of the Smokey Mountains and a campground lakeside. If you're a seasoned adventure racer, or you just want to come play outside - Tsali has a lot of options.
The TI team will provide meals and secure your campsite for arrival on Friday night or Saturday morning. Those who are interested can participate in an informal sprint adventure race on Saturday morning
(paddle/swim - mountain bike - trail run).
Friday - Sunday $70 per person
Saturday - Sunday $55 per person
Registration Opens June 15
Tsali Campground offers 42 campsites on a first-come, first-served basis. Many sites accommodate small RVs, but no hookups are available. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire ring and lantern post. Accessible flush toilets, hot showers and drinking water are available. Campers pay fees at the campground fee station.
Chill Mountain Weekend
Joyce Kilmer Forest & Santeetlah Lake
North Carolina
October 10-12, 2025
During this incredibly chill weekend, we will camp on the bank of Lake Santeetlah and wander through Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forrest. Wandering through the 500 year old trees of the only remaining Appalachian old-growth forrest is a great place to reflect, breathe, and come back to yourself.
TI provides all meals and secures your campsite in advance or your arrival. You should plan to bring your own camping gear, or we're happy to suggest a good rental option.

Some are more than 400 years old and rise to heights of over 100 ft. and have circumferences of up to 20 ft.! The 3,800-acre Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest is now a part of the 17,000-acre Joyce Kilmer-Slickrock Wilderness, adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
